The Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition (SAMR) model provides a technique for moving through degrees of technology integration from simply substituting the tool to enhance the lesson to utilizing technology to redefine the task in a transformational way.

After engaging in research and examples of the SAMR model, teachers will have the resources necessary to begin implementing SAMR in their lesson design process.

During the session teachers will begin thinking about how they can create engaging lessons that give students the ability to be creative, think critically, communicate effectively and collaborate.
